A generative AI solution for transferring wisdom, knowledge and expertise to the next generation of employees
Enterprises lose valuable insights, expertise and skills when employees retire or leave their positions for other reasons. They leave a knowledge and expertise vacuum behind.
There are two specific problems:
- How to capture the knowledge?
Structured interviews lead to better results than written documentation. While HR should conduct exit interviews, they often lack resources for necessary depth.
- How to make knowledge accessible?
Document systems often become write-only due to complex queries. Information spread across CRM, wikis, and Confluence creates inconsistent quality.


Documented knowledge is often difficult to access. It is often distributed across a variety of systems (Share Drive, CRM, Enterprise Wiki, etc.). When managed in a central document management system, UX problems such as complex query languages cause an acceptance problem.
AI-Powered Interviews
As a solution, we built Wisdom Bridge: an AI avatar for conducting structured in-depth interviews. Employees answer questions in the interview but can also upload documents or record process flows. The conversation structure is based on best HR practices, but also proven oral history techniques and methods.
Knowledge Processing & Storage
The transcripts of the interviews and the additional documents are processed and stored in the Wisdom Bridge knowledge base including a vector database, knowledge graphs and other data stores. For optimal results, this knowledge base should be combined with the company knowledge base.
Interactive Knowledge Access
The knowledge and experience of the former employees are then available via the multimodal Wisdom Bridge chatbot.
